How our fees work
Your total is a course fee plus a registration fee, and a travel fee only if your course includes an in-person observation and you live further than 2 hours from London.

Every course
What you pay us to teach, support and assess you. It's the biggest part of your cost, and you can pay it in full or spread it over your study period.

Registration fee
Every course · paid once
Charged by the awarding body (NCFE or iCQ) that registers you and issues your official certificate. It's set by them, differs by course, and is paid once — not per month. Check it against your course in the calculator below.

Awarding body fees are set by NCFE/iCQ and may be updated by them from time to time.
Travel fee
If applicable
Courses with an in-person observation include a visit from your assessor at your workplace. If you're under 2 hours from London Paddington, there's nothing extra to pay. Journey time is one way, by public transport, travelling in the daytime (10am–4pm). Further out, a per-visit travel fee covers the assessor's journey to you. The travel fee is included in your first payment: if you pay in full it's part of that one payment, and if you pay by instalments it's added to your first month, so your later payments stay the same. It's refundable with your course fee within the 14-day cooling-off period.
